Are you ready for a missionary challenge that families (or individuals youth age or older) can participate in and see Jesus at work? Oak Grove Baptist annually participates with the North Country Ministries and the Lake Placid Ironman triathalon to provide support to athletes and their families. Some of the projects may include children’s activities, registration, pancake dinner preparation/service, worship, and most important distribution of drinks and support to the athletes during the race.
The dates for this year’s mission trip are July 24-31, 2013. Contact John Ferrara (the.ferraras@verizon.net) or Dr. David Hall (davidahall@oakgrovebaptist.com) for more information. Participants will be trained for the project each Sunday afternoon between 4:00pm and 6:00pm starting in May. The training includes classroom and hands-on experience to best prepare the missionary for God’s work.
