Girls in Action (GA) is a missions organization for girls who are in grades 1-5. GAs can help girls begin to develop missions lifestyles as they learn what God is doing in the world and discover their places in God’s plan.
What happens in a GA meeting?
Girls will “travel the globe” learning about different people and their cultures. They will discover the many needs of the world–physical and spiritual. They will see how missionaries and believers are ministering to people and sharing God’s love.
What else do we do in GAs?
Besides meeting weekly during the school-year, we plan and do mission projects together. We also have a retreat and have the opportunity to attend girls camp each summer. Similar to Girl Scouts, GAs earn badges by participating in various mission projects and learning about different missionaries and cultures throughout the world.
When do GAs meet?
GAs meet on Wednesday evenings, from 7-8 p.m., in EB2 during the school year.
