Life Development Process

Every new year, people make resolutions and many of them relate to our physical condition. Well, imagine that we only worked out once a week for one hour and than we weren’t really concerned about our physical condition the rest of the week. We wouldn’t see good results if this were the case, would we? It takes intentionality and effort to get into better shape physically.

Similarly, we cannot attend church once a week and expect to have a vibrant, growing relationship with God and others. So, at Oak Grove, we have designed a process to help people grow in their faith. It is intentional and requires time and effort. But it is worth it!

We desire for every person at Oak Grove to go through this process. We illustrate the process using a baseball diamond. We hope that you will go around the bases during your time at Oak Grove.

Each base and class is meant to help you grow in a particular area in your life. The first class (class 101) is required for membership because it is a basic introduction to our church family.

The other classes will help you develop habits for growth, discover how God wants to use your unique gifts and abilities, and understand how you can be used by God in His mission.
