Family Bible Study - Elementary Children
“Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” Deut 32:2
The purpose of the Bible Teaching Ministry for children is to:
| REACH |
Children who are not yet involved in a Bible Study group.
|
| TEACH |
Lead children in a Bible Study that is fun, foundational, provides knowledge and understanding and application to their lives. We encounter God through His word and discover how He wants us to live. Using all the learning styles, we meet the needs of each child.
|
| CARE |
We build relationships, praying for children and their families.
|
| WITNESS |
As children’s teachers we demonstrate Christ in our own lives. We teach God’s plan of salvation and spiritual transformation.
|
FELLOWSHIP |
Children and their families have a place of Bible Study and Worship. Children’s teachers plan, prepare and work every Sunday morning to make sure Children know they are special, important, wanted and loved. |
Children are encouraged to attend one hour of Bible study AND one hour of worship with their families each Sunday morning. We have Bible study classes for all ages from preschool through adult.
Bible Study Classes for grades one through five meet in Education Building # 2 (center building on campus) on the upper level at 9:30 am. Bible Study Classes (Kids Corner) for grades 1 and 2 meet in Education Building # 1 (main building attached to sanctuary) on the third floor at 11:00 am. Bible Study Classes for grades three – five meet in Education Building # 2 on the upper level at 11:00 am.
Some of our classes currently use the Lifeway curriculum and others use Gospel Light curriculum.
