2008 Living Christmas Tree
Since 1985, we have presented our Living Christmas Tree program featuring drama, familiar carols, and special Christmas music.
The Living Tree structure was designed by one of our church members, Robert Wilson, back in 1985. The decorations and lighting are designed by Louise Gentry and Lois Stagnoli.
There is no charge for admission; however, tickets are required to make certain seating is available. Approximately 10,000 tickets are distributed each year to the church and community.

Living Christmas Tree Ticket Requests
CHECK BACK OCT 1
Requests begin with postmark: October 1.
Cut off date is Wednesday, October 26.
Completed ticket requests will be mailed: End of October.

If you received tickets to the Living Christmas Tree, we trust you will enjoy the presentation.
Because we receive more requests for tickets than we are able to fill, we would appreciate your returning to us any ticket/s you are unable to use.
For your information and convenience, we remind you of the following:
1. Please plan to arrive early. Parking attendants will direct you as you enter and exit our parking lot.
2. A freewill offering is taken at each presentation. Please come prepared to support this ongoing ministry. This offering is used to pay for the expenses of the tree and any monies left after expenses supports those in need in our community.
3. Your ticket/s will be honored on the date of the ticket only and until 7:15pm. At 7:15pm those waiting in line without tickets will be admitted until the sanctuary is filled. The doors open at 6:00pm. On Sunday, December 21, the presentation begins at 2:30pm. Your ticket will be honored until 2:45pm and the doors open at 1:30pm.
4. A nursery is NOT provided. Due to the length of the program it is not recommended that parents bring children under five year of age. We do not have an area to take children when they become restless.
5. Bring your camera, but do not take flash pictures during the presentation. You are welcome to take pictures at the end of the program the singers will remain in the tree for photographs.
6. This year Oak Grove Baptist is providing an opportunity to purchase the CD recording of the 2008 Living Christmas Tree. CDs will be available in the foyers before and after the presentations. No video will be produced this year. Please make checks payable to Oak Grove Baptist Church.
7. In case of inclement weather, please listen to radio stations WAMD (AM970), WRBS (FM 95.1), WBAL (AM 1090) or check our website: www.oakgrovebaptist.com to determine if we have canceled a presentation. Sorry, but due to the late date of this year's Tree performances, we will not have any make-up dates due to canceled programs.

Compact Discs are available in the foyers before and following each performance. The money received from the sale of CDs pays for the production cost only.
CDs are $10 each.
